New year’s reflections,
Start a list of resolutions,
Watching what I eat,
Only the occasional treat,
Gratitude for my amazing life,
And integrity to choose what’s right,
To see the good in everyone,
And give of myself where I can,
Be the change I wish to see,
So I can be a better me.
The world is desperate for change,
Starts in my own space and range.
If we all act more responsibly,
Love empowers a life in harmony.
This next year will be the best yet,
Memories to be made I won’t forget,
All in all the world needs me,
To be the best that I could be.
