A modern day hero I see today
Why do I define a man this way?
It is when a dollar value is not placed on life,
As he stepped forward to give in an hour of strife!
This man is due a national citation,
In facilitating his people’s liberation,
Putting safety and life before his profit,
He placed value on life that others did not.
It marks him as an extra ordinary man for me in the West,
Where the self absorbed give nothing a trait I detest,
He rules more than the sky this humanitarian man,
He changed hundreds of lives; proof that one man can.
Mr Onyema the sky is not your limit,
You transcended gain to scale that summit,
To me you are man of outstanding caliber,
My heartfelt pens ink dedicates this in your honor.
