Poem: Every Flap Counts
There is no need to flop
When the wings can’t flap
Because of life’s slap
It is only the brave who can sleep
Inside a horrendous day
They sleep so that they can find their strength
To fight another day
It’s the butterfly’s way of life
To flap both wings
But it is not the number of flaps
That makes the butterfly wise
It is the knowledge that every flap counts
Regardless of the situation or circumstances
Remember that every moment is a golden moment
Don’t waste your time with worry and overthinking
Sometimes you need some time off
For you to find healing
Don’t look for sympathy
Find your symphony (harmony)
And listen to the Silence within
It is the best therapy
For those with broken wings
