Poem: Path of Desire
She didn’t know what he meant
But she followed him
Into the cloudless night
Not even the bitter cold
That held her hands
Could stop her heart beat
As it hopped into his arms
Penetrating his mysterious armour
It was an intense feeling
That pushed her into his path
Like an arrow
Piercing the path of the unknown
She was a bullet
On a collision path
With the heart of a lion
She did not care
About tomorrow
She was like a breath
Entering the nostrils of life
She was full of carelessness
Like a wildfire
She was ignited
To burn this wilderness
She was propelled
By a dark force
Into the pit of darkness
…to be continued
