Poem: The philosophy of philosophies
The greatest philosophy lies not in the faculty of human intelligence
The greatest philosophy is buried in the heart of man or woman
It’s not the complex stories of religious dogma
Or the meticulously calculated stage of politics and economics
It’s not the technological savvy platform of science
Or the academically enriched school of education
It’s the spirit within
The philosophy of philosophies is to value life
Regardless of its vulnerabilities or weaknesses
Life is sacred beyond imagination
It’s only the foolish men or women
Who will recklessly put a knife to the cord of life
It’s true that life comes in many shades of colours
It’s colourful and happy in spring
And greyish and cold in winter
But life stands at the pedestal of existence
Not to broadcast its success or evolutionary victories
But to define the very existence of existence
It’s common for men or women to differ
Sometimes delving into the pit of wickedness
To manufacture a brand new philosophy
But it’s known
That the greatest philosophy of them all
Has been unveiled
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27
This is the philosophy of philosophies
