Poem: Through the eyes of the spirit

I chose the path of Light

Not to disrobe the world

But to undress my being

And address human beings

Not out of disrespect

For those who hold different views

But out of unconditional Love

It’s true, humanity is blessed beyond measure

Not by the shining billboards of materialism

But by the Spirit of God

God’s Grace is sufficient

To clothe us with unimaginable wealth

It’s through the eyes of the spirit

That eternity is unveiled

And the seat of selfishness is abandoned

It’s through the eyes of the spirit

That the Truth is displayed

On the canvas of our consciousness

It’s hope, faith and Love

That hold the fibre of the Truth

It’s the ability to see beyond the cup of life

Into the unfathomable heart of God

It’s the everlasting life fully undressed

For the sons and daughters of Man

To find true peace

Through the eyes of the spirit

Knowledge is meaningless

Only the Grace of God

Has the power to give you true wealth

It’s not education that will undress our blindfolded eyes

It’s through the eyes of the spirit

That our blindfolded eyes are liberated

From the huge burden of “seeing”

And we are submerged

Into the ocean of awareness

It’s through the eyes of the spirit

That unconditional Love

Becomes the only true wealth

And Love becomes the canvas of life (reality)

It’s through the eyes of the spirit

That we can fully comprehend
