The power of the pen,
Contains the written word,
The power of the voice,
Contains the spoken verb.
Once a word is said aloud,
We understand what it’s about.

But the hidden power of the word
Is the pain it causes when it’s heard.
It changes lives and history too,
Because it changes the point of view.

The world within emotions and feeling,
Stated describes our state of being.
But the greatest energy within a word,
Is the concept to create or intentionally build.

Sadly destruction within a poisoned pen,
So hateful a message as one can send,
Our lives today ruled in social media description,
Displays a false world of lies and deception.

The romance within a beautiful poem,
Are words and energy the writer makes known,
Of love and joy contained within their heart,
For you to enjoy when memory fails to recall it’s part.

The sensual vibration inside the erotic word,
It’s to arouse your desires and create the mood,
Another form of seduction it’s known
The erotic sensual words that form a poem.

Every word thought creates my reality to see,
My perception and what I believe myself to be,
So to think positive thoughts to build a new me,
I need only words that describe me positively.

So remember the implication of what is said,
Once you’ve stated it or its been read,
It can not be undone and taken back,
As it alters everything from that one remark.
